PORTRAIT SESSIONS

What kind of portrait sessions are offered?

Families, kids, engagement sessions, high school seniors, college grads, expecting parent/maternity sessions, bridals, day after the wedding sessions, trash/rock the dress sessions, individual portraits in nature, in-home family documentary sessions.

How do I get my pictures?

After I edit the images, I will upload them to an online gallery and email the gallery link to you. You can save the image files and you can also use this gallery to buy prints of all sizes from a professional lab. Canvas and metallic prints are some of the print options that will be available to you - as well as regular prints on photographic paper for framing. 

Where do we take pictures?

There are so many great places all over the valley in the metro Phoenix area. Some of my favorites: Agritopia, Roosevelt Row arts district, Nichols Park in Gilbert, the LOVE statue and downtown Scottsdale, Arizona Falls, South Mountain, the Superstitions, Saguaro Lake, Canyon Lake, downtown Gilbert, the ASU campus, the Desert Botanical Garden. But these are the places all photographers know about and use. Ask me about my secret, hidden, out-of-the-way locations!

What time of day do we meet for pictures?

The light in the hours before sunset is usually the prettiest, so most photo shoots are scheduled for those hours, but in some places we might be able to meet in the middle of the day - for example, middle of the day photos can work where there is open shade, like in downtown Phoenix, where we are surrounded by tall buildings. Also, the light at sunrise can be beautiful, but it is very fleeting and you have to get up super early in the summer - but it is sometimes an option. 

What are the prices for portrait sessions?

There are three "sizes."  The prices are for groups of 8 people or less. $50/per person over 8 people added. Sales tax is applied to all portrait sessions.

1. $200

How it works:

• We have a text or email or phone consultation about your vision for the shoot.

• We meet up 30-45 minutes before sunset or at sunrise.

• We take a bunch of photos!

• I go home and lightly edit the best photos - which ends up being about 10 - 20 percent of the photos we took.

• I send the lightly edited photos to you in an online gallery and you get to keep all the photos and have full saving and printing rights of all images.

• You choose your FIVE favorite photos for “magazine edits” - these are the photos that you want to post online, share, and print out to frame and hang on walls.

• Want magazine edits for more photos? That is available at $10/image.

2. $400

• How it works:

  • We have a text or email or phone consultation about your vision for the shoot.

  • We meet up 90 minutes before sunset or at sunrise.

  • We take hundreds of photos!

  • I go home and lightly edit the best photos - which ends up being about 10 - 20 percent of the photos we took.

  • I send the lightly edited photos to you in an online gallery and you get to keep all the photos and have full saving and printing rights of all images.

  • You choose your TWENTY favorite photos for “magazine edits” - these are the photos that you want to post online, share, and print out to frame and hang on walls.

  • Want magazine edits for more photos? That is available at $10/image.

3. $800

How it works:

• We have a text or email or phone consultation about your vision for the shoot.

• We meet up 2 to 2.5 hours before sunset or at sunrise.

• We take hundreds of photos!

• I go home and lightly edit the best photos - which ends up being about 10 - 20 percent of the photos we took.

• I send the lightly edited photos to you in an online gallery and you get to keep all the photos and have full saving and printing rights of all images.

• You choose your SIXTY favorite photos for “magazine edits” - these are the photos that you want to post online, share, and print out to frame and hang on walls.

• Want magazine edits for more photos? That is available at $10/image.

WEDDINGS + ELOPEMENTS

• $300 per hour plus sales tax (two hour minimum)

• An engagement session is included.

• A second photographer is included for weddings that will be five or more hours.

• Online gallery to share with family and friends.

• Beautifully edited high resolution digital files delivered in both an online gallery and in a USB drive.

• From the online gallery, you can purchase images of all sizes, printed via a professional photography lab.

• Print release.

We can talk over the phone and then meet in person at a coffee shop to talk about your wedding. I always go check out your wedding venue before your wedding and can arrange to see your venue with you.

Are albums available?

Yes! After your wedding images are delivered, I can create an album design for you, if you wish. Then you can decide if you want to order an album.
